The Mavis & Ephraim Hawthorne Foundation was established in 2005 by their children,
The Mavis & Ephraim Hawthorne Foundation was established in 2005 by their children, Founders of Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery and Grill. Golden Krust’s commitment to the community since its inception in 1989 is indicative of its many contributions to multiple programs and charities throughout the United States and the islands of the Caribbean.
One of Golden Krust's Programs is its Scholarship Program. It has one here in the United States and one in Jamaica. It is good for companies to be philanthropic. It shows that they appreciate the communities which support them. It also encourages the community to support them more. (Good Marketing Strategy)

Wagoner says GM wants to test driverless vehicles by 2015 and put them on the road by 2018
This is a bold conception for GMC. Why not? There are pilotless planes in the sky. What if the Japanese or the Europeans do this by 2012? The technology to do this is here already so GMC should move fast or risk loosing that future MARKET.
